When an Instagram story is unavailable, it means you can't view it. Here are some common reasons:
The User Deleted the Story: Stories only last for 24 hours unless added to Instagram Highlights. If the user deleted it before then, or it expired naturally, it will be unavailable.
The User Blocked You: If a user has Blocked You, you won't be able to see their stories or any of their content.
Account is Private and You Don't Follow Them: If the account is private and you are not a Follow Them, you won't be able to see their stories. You'd need to request to follow them, and if they accept, you'll then be able to view their stories (provided they haven't blocked you).
Technical Issues: Sometimes, there might be a temporary Technical Issues with Instagram itself. This could cause stories (or the entire app) to be temporarily unavailable. Try again later.
The Story Was Removed for Violating Guidelines: If the story violated Instagram's Community Guidelines, Instagram may have removed it.
